Your security is our priority, and so is your privacy.

MetaMask Defender is built on a strict zero-knowledge architecture. We absolutely do not collect, store, transmit, or sell:
All security scanning (heuristics, drainer signature detection, clickjacking analysis) is performed locally on your device within your browser. The extension analyzes the DOM (Document Object Model) of the active tab to warn you of threats. This data is never sent to any external server.
We use Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) exclusively to save your personalized settings and your local "Scams Blocked" counter. This data is kept entirely on your hard drive and is never synced to our servers.
Our extension and website may provide links to report scams (e.g., Chainabuse). Please be aware that when you click these links, you are bound by the privacy policies of those respective third parties.
If we update our privacy policy, we will clearly post the changes on this page. However, our core philosophy of "zero tracking" will never change.
